What Dova is

Dova is a personal expense-tracking and budgeting tool. It is not a bank, not a payment provider, not a lender, and not a financial advisor. It does not move money, connect to your bank accounts, or process payments of any kind — every figure in the app comes from what you type in yourself.

Accuracy depends on you

Every balance, chart, and insight Dova shows is calculated from the transactions you've entered. If an entry is missing, late, or incorrect, everything derived from it will be too. Dova does its best to calculate accurately from what it's given, but it can't verify that what you've entered matches reality.

"You Get" / "You Pay" (Udhar) tracking

The borrowing/lending tracker is a personal record-keeping tool between you and people you know — a way to remember who owes what. It does not create any real financial or legal obligation, does not facilitate an actual loan, transfer, or payment, and Dova has no relationship of any kind with anyone you record in it.

Not financial advice

Insights, suggestions, and alerts (spending patterns, budget warnings, savings suggestions, and similar) are generated from simple, transparent calculations over your own data — never a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on anything Dova shows are yours alone.

Your device, your responsibility

Because your financial data lives only on your device, keeping that device secure — a lock screen, biometric unlock, regular backups — is up to you. If your device is lost, reset, or its app data is cleared without a backup, that data cannot be recovered by us, because we never had a copy of it.
